ECM times

I'm new to the cable side, and just wondering what typical ECM times should be?

Back on satellite I was in the mind of 300 or less but I've read that for cable they're typically a bit more than that.

Ok, so what ECM times are other people getting?
Mine can vary wildly from 0.6 to >3.0 - I'm not sure if it's the server I'm on, if that's about normal for cable or if it's simply my broadband (as evening connections can get quite bad in my area).

I'm like you and new to the cable side of things. Mine also vary from 0.4 to 3.9. Once over 3.5 i just get picture freeze. Trying to eliminate anything my end that may cause high ECM times but not found anything as of yet.
Be interesting to see if anyone else has issues.
