Swapfile manager
Blue to create 256mb. Wait
Yellow to autostart
Green to start
Red to close.
Hold power button on remote for 3 secs and select Restart (never GUI)

(If u are using a large enough usb/HDD u may want to go to*

Timeshift settings
Autostart ts after 30secs or whatever.
As it is u must press pause to start timeshift)

Autobouquets maker
Providers. Wait
Sky UK (sd):area. Change from northern ireland custom to your area custom by pressing right or left.
Green to save.
Start scan. Wait.
Hold power Restart

Cross EPG
Download now. Takes 5-10 mins. Happens automatically at 6.15 am anyway.
Hold power again and restart.
 
yes i did see the read rest of guide

i must be doing something wrong

as when i goto Menu Setup there's no Vix
 
Updated my box to this latest flash. When i move from fta to paid channel it takes approx 1 minute for it to work. It's as if it is refreshing the mgcamd line every time i move from fta. I had no issues on the flash i had before. Any solutions?
 
i just tried that but now its not booting up its just going round in circles with the numbers

Looks like its stuck in a loop
 
turn of at back you'll need to format usb these boxes are picky with them use hdd format tool then windows format then try again if that fails try other usbs i use sandisic only had to format once flashed about 10+ times

im getting tune faild i noticed In Auto Bouquet Maker / Menu pick Providers
then Select Virgin UK and select my area (the net id's should match my network ID but it dont as it says yorkshire im not yorkshire

i put my ID in and Select Virgin UK and select my area which shows up ok now
but I cannot find any cable channels i just get tune failed.

Tuner 1 is Not configured and tuner 2 is set to cable all i get is Time out tuner lock !!!
 
Just to confirm. Will this image work with both C Lines and N Lines?

For a C line do I put it Complete with the C in the Ect folder on box and select CCcam and start in Softcam manager and restart box?

For an N line do I simply paste in the line into the newcamd.list file in usr/keys?

Do I not need to touch the mg_cfg or any of the other files at all?

If its a Cline it goes into the etc folder and for nline usr/keys folder. Use ftp to enter your line like filezilla or DCC.plenty of threads about how to do this just do a search .
 
ive added the Cline via the usr/keys folder but sussed out how to use the ftp to enter the line via filezilla or DCC, not really sure what these mean, do you have an easy step by step link or thread? sorry but im a complete newbie
 
If your line is. a C line it goes in the etc folder N lines work better in Newcamd list file with Mg camd look on page 9 of Vix hades image on how to add it only difference is softcam manager is in set up rather than blue button
