Recording on BM5000s - no audio on Playback

When I playback a recording on the BladeMedia box, it works perfectly fine.
When I do so on another device, it playsback without audio.
What would be causing this?

I had a similar problem, I had a 5000 and a 7000,
Both boxes saved the files in different formats so
they wouldn't play back on the other box properly.

They played fine on the box they where recorded on.

I take it you don't know of a work around for this?
It's great being able to record PPV's and pass on but without the audio, it's pointless.

No mate, just sold the 7000 and ran two 5000s lol

Hmmm, something I'll need to mind

It's common on most boxes not to be able
to transfer encrypted recordings to other
devices.

It is not like using AVI, MKV, MP4's etc.

Has anyone discovered a work around for this, or a suitable media player with correct codec?
