SkyQ Skin

Hi
Loving this skin, however having some problems with some picons not showing? Some like cartoon network only showing SkyQ picon? Anyone know how to solve?
Thanks

You will need to either find a different large picon set or create your own for the missing channels.

You can take a look at the format and naming of them in the SkyQ picon folder.

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

The Skin also comes with 2 .sh scripts for the Top Picks.

SkyQ Scrape.sh scrapes images from the net and SkyQ Picks.sh picks up the images to display.

In your Cron Manager or Cron Time (Open ATV Menu - Timers - Cron Timers) You need to set SkyQ Scrape.sh once a day and SkyQ Picks.sh every 1hr or whatever you wish to have the images updated.

Enjoy & Please don't forget feed backs.

hi guys,

i am new here so probably a stupid question for most of you. is there a set rule of adding a line or the skin first to the box as i don't want to add a line first and finding out installing skin removed the line details. Also what is the best way of setting up the box, installing firmware software first (i am presuming openvix etc are the firmware softwares) then adding skin then line or can be done in any order. One last thing would the SkyQ skin here work on Zgemma h2s?

Thanks in advance

Never a stupid question to be asked when you are first setting out here! your line\sub is completely independant to the skin on the box, the only time you loose the line is a image flash (or delete manually) so doesnt matter which order you put them on the box, ans yeah this is an enigma2 skin suitable for the H2S etc

Hi guys just me again
Still can't get these picon to work
Also is there something like top picks
As I don't have that either
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Chabs, great work once again!

Just tried to upgrade from V1.5 to V1.7 on my Gigablue HD Ultra UE and it seems to be "stuck" (technical term :)).

Also, do I need to download all the picons etc again or will the existing ones work okay?

Any help would be appreciated

Rob

Sorted! I remembered I had a similar problem before and you helped me sort it. I manually removed the previous version and then installed 1.7.

Hi all

I've been looking through the menus and I seem to have a slight problem. As you can see in the image below, the progress bar is overwriting the channel name. The same occurs with the list of bouquets, the name doesn't fit in the space provided.

It looks like that pane has to be extended to the right but I can't find where that setting is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rob

PS the channel numbers seem to be crazy in the documentary section (maybe others as well). I think they're the satellite channel numbers and not the numbers assigned by Sky.

SOLVED: I had to upgrade the OS to the latest Openvix 4.2.027 and all is well...ish.

Separate issue now with Autobouquetsmaker not hiding sections of the bouquets it has generated but that's nothing to do with this great skin (I hope).

I had a problem with the large picons not working. Found out that I had named the SkyQ folder in the hdd wrong. I had a space in between the Sky and Q.
I renamed it all the one word and the picons are now working fine.
Thanks again for the great skin.
