Vix Updates on Xtrend 8500

My mate is getting an error message when he tries to get updates on his 8500 but it also says the status is fine. There's not much info, just Failed, and If this persists contact support. Any ideas? Thanks.

Has he deleted the old feeds in plugins?

Check on the Vix website. I think they have been having problems with build 4.2 022 and 023. and may have turned the updates off. until you do a fresh reflash off the latest image.

Gonna reflash tonight cba last night.

Yes there has been issues on the last couple of builds and advised not to online update for a while until sorted

Thanks guys, yeah bad update. Re-flashed with the latest download from the web site and normal service has resumed. lol
