my box is showing the same name on every channel with EPG, i have downloaded the channel updates several time per day for 4 day now and can't fix this problem

Basically you need to delete the epg.dat and re download and reboot. On vix
Menu
Setup
system
Epg
Load/save/delete
Delete epg
Yes
Crossepg
Download now. Takes 10 mins
Hold power button on remote and select restart

its using openvix and started 4 days ago showing p116 beyond the headlines for every channel when using EPG, i have updated the channel list and tried deleting EPG the downloading the update again but nothing is resolving this problem

had a similar issue when testing with different images, you can always wipe the external HDD and re-flash, that way the epg.dat will def be gone. might be a bit extreme but it works. If u haven't got any stored recordings u want to keep start from fresh.

Restart after download?
If the epg is deleted properly u shouldnt be able to have same problem
