Zgemma star 2s

Hi I have recently brought a Zgemma star s2. Could someone please give me step by step instructions on how to format a toshiba 1tb hard drive to use on my Zgemma. Thank you

I keep getting an error message. initialising storage device error
umount cant forcibly umount/media/hdd:device
or resource busy

Remove and format on PC.
Box off.

Thanks. Sorry to be a pain but when i press file list on remote I get hardware error and restart.

if hard drive is not setup correctly you wont have any files on hdd,does it say in storage device mounted and ext3 - 4?

No im not getting ext3-4 I've formatted the drive to ex fat and followed steps in a previous post.

Drive needs initialised to work properly. FAT no good

I'm really sorry but how do I initialise it. I'm very new to this and im ripping my hair out lol.

Make sure no partitions.
Turn box off.
Insert drive
Power on
Menu
Setup
System
Storage devices
Initialisation
"Ur drive"
Red to initialise
Menu
Setup
Vix
Swapfile manager
Blue create 256mb.
Yellow autostart
Green start
Reboot
