That really means nothing, as channels clear on the standard server that comes with the box.

VIP packages are for use outside of Europe since most of the beams for those channels are impossible in Europe of needs a massive dish.

For boxes in Europe you purchase SP1 for DE and UK or SP2 if you want DE and UK plus the IPTV.

It does for me also after around 8 hrs box will return to standby on its own. No settings can stop it doing this. I suspect this is not a fault but is there to stop you leaving it on a channel causing server load when your not watching it.

I don't see this as a problem, press the on button, and it is back on. Any timers set will be fine as the timer starts the box back up to start recordings.

This is 100% a network issue your problem, not the Viark.

Also, you don't check if it is connected on your screenshots that's the server section tells you nothing, you check if PT is connected in Menu-Net&Games and scroll to PT.

It can sometimes for some say disconnected but the channels still clear.

Hi Ferret,

This is the frustrating part.
I apparently have this, however as I didn’t have the above clearing, I purchased the SP2 sub, then provider contacted me and confirmed that I already had same and refunded my money.
I’m in the process of purchasing SP1 now to see where this goes.

Genuine sky boxes also do this. They changed software years ago as they were very bad at energy wastage. Overnight with the boxes going into standby their energy rating rocketed.

Best thing to do is check your box serial number on the recharge site and if it mentions T,L12 card you are on the wrong server it should say you are in Europe and can use SP1/SP2

at irregular intervals the server breaks off on PT disconected why?is it the same with you where you have the viark sat 4k receiver with viark sat h265 it is also the same with Wifii

@Ferret. What Kind of network should it be Internet network.?now its Back to pt connected but at irregular intervals dan shoqed pt disconected again why? i then Played in the serverconfiguration the server was deactivated and activated again.i dont feel like always pulling the Power plug from the viark sat 4k receiver and the fritzbox 7490 router.its not just one Problem its multiple if it were just one

@All i Wrote to the viark team there is a Trick if the pt disconected Problem occurs please pm.you dont have to always pull the mains plug if there is a Problem with the viark sat 4k receiver or other viark sat receiver or with the Internet Router.

No you just select PT Disconnected under net and games and press ok once to reconnect.

If your Viark is connected via wifi then please try and change the wifi channel in your router settings, too many networks on the same channel will cause wifi dropouts.
Easy to use WIFI Analizer from Microsoft Store will show networks around you and how many on each channel.
