I figured out how to fix this, turned the box off, unplugged the HDD, booted the box, all epg is gone, reconnected HDD, epg is now re-populating and now appears to be correct

Just restarted box and its gone back to showing incorrect epg for the discovery channel, dont know why? Watching deisal brothers now and it says fast n loud is on?

Edit: Re innitialised hdd set it up again, epg for discovery looks correct, restarted box and still looking good. Happy days.
In the instruction guide for this build it doesnt mention about activating the swap file, is this something that i should do?
Is it advisable to do Red button - Software Manager - Software Update?

the epg is stored on the hdd, if you unplug the hdd it will store new epg on internal memory, as soon as you plug hdd back in it reverts to that data. Try deleting the epg.dat file on the hdd and download again. This is an issue with epp importer not the build itself, the other day the vm preview channel was showing as bt sport for some strange reason but it corrected itself after a day or so.

I've never used a swapfile on my boxes, apart from the H4 which does need it. If you find that not using a swapfile is having a detrimental effect then you can set one up.
If you flashed with a recent build then doing a software update should be fine.

I've installed this great build on my zgemma h2h. Thanks it's running smoothly.
I have a rather cheeky question which I'm not sure I'll receive an answer here.
I have a vu+ solose also. My question is if I find a build/image with the audio fix do I just follow the same setup instructions as for this build after flashing?
Thanks for any help.

I've got H4 with Grogbuild (29/11/2017 build) thanks Grog68
When I put the H4 into Standby and come back to it over an hour later it will not send a signal to TV.
The red light goes out and the display brightens up but no matter how long I leave it there isn't a signal.
I have to reset H4 via white on/off button on rear panel.
I also listen to the radio via H4 and when I switch back to TV channels it can take 2-3 mins to switch over.
I don't think it is the build as I've used all the Grogbuilds to date and the same issue exists.
If anyone could shed any light on these issues it would be appreciated.

I would open a new thread with this issue to see if anyone else has experienced the issue.
Have you enables the swap file on the H4?
Have you tried a different hdmi lead or plugging in to a different hdmi input on the TV?

Once the box is flashed, most atv 6.1 builds will work similarly, they mostly vary the skins, plugins and settings. I think wooshbuild is available for the vu+ solo2 which will have the fix.

Thanks. I've got 3 different images/builds which boast the audio fix but no instructions like your kind self gave for your build. Not getting replies to the image threads so thought I'd ask here. Been told I need to do/make/create my own cam?

ATV doesn't come with cams installed but most ATV based builds do. If not there is a link in the downloads section to the softcams ipk that you can install.

Yeh i remembe the previews channel being displayed as bt sport lol i thought that was strange too, thanks for describing how to fix this sort of issue in future, much apprecited.

Yeh i have the swap file enabled because on one occassion when i was fast fowarding a recording the box froze and had to turn off from back and on again to get it working,

Just did the software update, rebooted and everything looks fine, thx grog68

Managed to get a build for the vu+ solose and followed your basic setup instructions. Just had to install a cam and was fine. Thanks for your hard work again.

Hi i installed this build on my zgemma h2s yesterday and it solved all my audio problems thanks very much and great build.
Was wondering tho if this build will work on my mates zgemma-star h1?

Just got an error when pressing the right arrow on remote to get the epg up, this happened once before last week and after a period of time it stopped happening.
Thought i would upload the error to get some insight

I tried opening the epg by pressing the right arrow on the remote shortly after i stopped and deleted a timer recording when this happened, once the box restarted i could re create this error by opening the epg

These boxes do tend to crash once every so often, and the build is unlikely the cause, you'd be best to post the error elsewhere, probably best on ATV as they write the image/code.

As a side note, I've found this image/build a lot more stable than what I used previously.
