Freezing problems

Definitely VM causing the issues. Since I took latest FW on Superhub3 it’s been a mess, Or the fact that so many people are now using the cable setup and haven’t got a clue, probly got wires all over the place causing interference on the network.i give it 6 months and it will be gone.
Stay of hd channels and you will get less freezing.

It will not be gone in 6 months, it was known 3 months before we lost SS HD that they were going as they had told customers they would need to upgrade to new box to get SS HD, they are going to have to do the same for other channels, starting with Movies HD etc and even then SD will still be available until vm insist all customers upgrade their boxes.

Yeah theres far more older boxes in circulation than people think and vm were probably forced by the powers above to protect the sport hd channels otherwise they would have just said if it aint broke dont fix it to maximise profits etc

Or like when ss hd went off they gave people a date 31st January. If you didn’t upgrade for free to v6 or TiVo you were told your package won’t work. Also virgin owns your box so if you don’t upgrade and play games with them they will just cut you off. Then 50% of iptv is gone aswell.

during the wo'er, we could only get iptv by doin the Lambeff wowk, Oy! - course back then it was different, we ad rickets, there ain't no pleasin some people

Dropped my line provider a mail, said they have no idea what the problem is and they're looking into it. :( TV has been unwatchable for a few days now, just when you think you may have got a freeze free five minutes there it goes again! End of the road, who knows!

was having a mad thought, wonder if everyone having issues uses VM for their broadband? maybe this is a vm attempt at something <-- Conspiracy nutter alert LOL

Something is certainly going on, but the Oscam logs are not showing any timeouts or connectivity issues. I’m with VM and I would imagine this is a video data feed issue, rather than filtering, as the later would show in the logs.

last night was dire, everything I tried to watch, even FTV, was freezing had to revert to sat. Things were noticeable better a few days ago when it was warm and sunny, I guess far fewer viewers

Exactly that notice was for sky sports HD only, they would need to give the same notice for movies HD and other channels.

if people having these freezing problems could add their netid to their posts, we may be able to see some kind of pattern, i'm in 40966 and haven't seen any freeze/glitch in past few weeks, lets hope it stays this way

I’ve now lost all channels except the usual 1-5 SD.
Provider has said they are aware of the issue and trying to fix.

This is not area specific, I know of customers who have had boxes off me in the same netid as you who have had issues, although not too bad until yesterday.

Today seems a lot better, but will see how it goes.

I still say it's a Provider issue. The minute I changed to a Test Line, all my problems went away.
Area 41069.
It has been a little better today, definitely.

I agree with you I done the same and back to normal now hardly any freezing just the normal area 41066

I know for a fact that some users using oscam are getting glitch/freeze that others using mgcamd on same server are not getting.
Make of that what you will

To be I have changed from Oscam to mgcamd and supplier but can't get hold of previous supplier so had to change for my own sanity lol
