I wouldn't worry about it.... any provider that hasn't paid for this event is crazy.... I'm 99% sure it will be showing on iptv so if your unsure if your virmin sub will be showing it then sign up to a decent iptv sub for 1 month.

We'll never know till 5am Sun morning really if they've found a way to encrypt it so pointless worrying about it. And as said yes an IPTV backup is a sensible choice and still cheaper than the real deal if it means that much to you.

Picked up these preview images today on 2 different channels

PPV slate is irrelevant iirc

That only shows the previews and event ad image even during the event.

From what I remember, if you selected PPV events while on the old V/V+ boxes, the PIP would show that slate.


The first one, live events channel is what your looking for on the actual event.

I've been told it will clear in SD only (assuming your provider buys it) I guess there's an issue with HD

People tend to panic over these because the previews aren't showing in the channel.... the channel more often than clearly states (live on event) when means it will clear when the show begins.

Yep Sky Box Office HD is on Virgin Media, but for TiVo + V6 only so you won't see have it available for CS

If you have showtime that streams it live like i do then you can get it in HD with the use of VPN.
