Cable FTP password

My mate has a H2H box he got of someone but they have put a password on it so he can't get into ftp does anyone know how to get rid of it with out flashing again

Usually the login is "root" as the username and the password is blank - is this not working?

Yeah he tried login but won't let him in at all

What image is on it? I posted recently how to extract the parental pass from VIX via FTP. There may be a way to do this too via Dream Explorer to ETC...

The image that is on it is, Virtuosso image xtreme, ive tried downloading the dreamexplorer plugin, but it's not letting me download any plugins at all

I believe there's a plugin you can install to extract and export the line details. Then you can re flash if you find no other way
