Who's mod and what verison of the skin are you on


the skin has changed from the orignal 5 so not all the mods work

nope not at the moment sorry

right i have been working on something half new for the skin
well no new mods but just repacked them in to a easy to install ipk
which you can install next to the regular skin or you can remove the regular skin

also added more options in extras and gave the option in the skins.xml to turn modds on and off

im still working on it and you need to turn the mods on, default is off so far
so you need to be able to ftp and edit a xml


im open to ideas, help and tips how to make it better


still early testing so anyone want to test please, thank the post and download and install the ipk
if dont know how to install the ipk, you might be better missing this out

as always back your system up before, just incase, but its should case problems like that

full restart after install


top tip, when you are changing the xlm files, take an orignal backup of the modded install folder
then if there is problems you can just drag and drop it to kick your box out of a boot look
if the gui restart takes more than 30seconds, ftp over your backup again, so you don't need to go to your box and do a power cycle

Beat me to it I'll definitely be having a look over the weekend. I was still thinking along the lines of how matrix lite is where you can turn mods on and off or maybe having them in a skin components ipk

This is a very basic on and off
in the skin.xml you just change the exclude to include or the other way

But it is the same setup as kiddacs and I just uncompressed his ipk and drag mine new one in
it still has his .pys in

as said still in test testing
thanks for letting me know

try a different install location just in case

As I have that problem before, placed in temp no go, tried root of hdd with Reid great

did you open the skin.xlm for extra mods

Just having a wee test there and I see the EPG isn't working
it just pops up with a blue background, so il look in to it
and get an update out

Playing nicely on mine. Only thing. My picons now have a shinny background is this something you played with or me

what picons are you using or are you using a picon manager?
when i installed on mine, i had it set to transparent, it worked fine
