Glitching / freezing.

I am more shocked that you found 8/9 providers for Irish cable lines which are rare :grimacing:

Belfast mate, Northern Ireland so, still part of the UK.

I've replaced the mg_cfg file with the one listed on the site which is from May of this year. Hopefully that makes a difference.

Apologies, I wasn't being ignorant - just had a brain fart.

Have you checked you have the right NET ID as this can have a bearing sometimes.

On that note, I am using VIX, would that maybe, be something to do with it?
The ECM times go sky high in the 3-4000 then the glitch / freeze occurs.

Shouldn't make any difference... try another firmware if you wish though to rule it out.

I really don't know where to go, maybe an attenuator may help a slight bit?
Unless I change the coax cable from the external splitter to the main feed to the living room, that has never been replaced and has been there 10+ years.

Its not a date thing it needs to have the correct settings in the mg_cfg file :)

That's correct there is two hubs in the home although they are running of the same cable fees they are seperate VM accounts.

I have tried IPTV using the MAG256 box but wasn't overly keen on the quality.
