Yes, he will although quotes vary a lot as it depends on how far he has to travel, brackets and extra fabrication work making extra supporting brackets if need be etc.

I have installed and set up many in UK and overseas but some people do find it a daunting task.
Yes if you can get a 1m dish then great for your area and with a 0.1db lnb then you will get superb reception.
Reaper.
Im central scotland. Have to check local authority regs about sat dish sizes.

There will be more people locally that can fit a motorized dish surly,It not rocket science,The one that the reaper has linked is only 4 m12 bolts to add the bracket and does not need to be 100 foot up in the air

... thats what i thought. Not sure if 80cm is too small for my location.

You'd be surprised - I rang several aerial / satellite "specialists" when I wanted mine fitted a few months back but all I got was "don't do motorised" ... I think they only want the easy jobs.

A good electrician could setup a motorized dish easy as its mostly drilling and cabling,The box settings are the hard bit but i use usals

Depending how high he has to set the dish and run new cable but it can be a couple of hrs to setup

Id like to think that being a electrician but itll be making sure its located correctly plumb and aligned to the arc thats the difficult part. Wont it need specialist alignment equipment?

I got a letter from falkirk district council [ so all will be the same i think ] and it stated that the dish must not exceed 90 cm
Yup im now sure its 90cm without planning permission. That earlier ebay link is good but being further north max size is a must and 80cm might be a tad under.

Denending on what box your using then all signals can be picked up via the box,Example set the dish to 28e via signal finder on the box,Would need 2 people really,Stick the wife in front of the tv and adjust as required,It will give a full reading for signal,Other option is pick up a cheap sat finder off the bay

Seems my lads egnoring my texts now got a feeling he doesn't want to do it.How hard are they to set up,do I need an expensive meter or just a cheap one
